Photographs are many things, but I think this quote sums up one of their most important functions; to bring us back to a moment in time, a person, a place......
Apart from our own reasons for wanting a photograph, that single, solitary click of the shutter is also an important moment for our descendants. Today it is so easy to leave our photographs imprisoned in a computer or on a phone – liberate them, make them real, pass them down the generations by committing them to print!
I love taking photographs both for myself and for others. I'm based in North West England but am happy to travel just about anywhere with my camera.
